Annual. (Technically a Perennial grown as an Annual. Will over winter in climates as cold as USDA Zone 4.) Blooms spring to early summer and in fall, depending on when seed is sown. 6" – 8" tall. Large 3" flowers with mixed color including baby yellow, peach, burgundy, rust, and cream. Flowers are edible and make a colorful addition to salads. Plant in the early spring for spring and summer bloom. Try planting in early fall for winter and spring color even in cold climates! Spring flowers make a nice accent for your spring bulbs. Pansies bloom best during cool weather. In the heat of summer they eventually get leggy and stretch, and must be pulled and replaced with new seedlings.
