Combine the peppery flavor and the cream color petals with the throat of raspberry red for a real winner! Annual Cream/peach color with raspberry red markings in the throat. Blooms Spring to fall. Full Sun, Partial Sun 6"-12" tall. Peach Melba's beautiful flowers are held above the foliage! Every salad should have edible nasturtium and viola flowers in it! Nasturtium leaves also edible. This compact variety is an excellent edging plant and good in pots and baskets. Grown as a perennial in climates with NO frost. Rabbits hate nasturtiums and keep away! Nasturtiums perform well in poor soil, but it is comfortable in average garden soil with loose, light texture as long as the soil is not overly fertile with nitrogen. Drought tolerant, but does best with ample moisture. When a blossom reaches its peak, pinch off to the base of the stem. OUTSIDE: Spring after average last day of frost. In very hot summer regions, plant in fall for winter bloom. INSIDE: 2 weeks before last frost. Recommend plant outside direct - seedlings do not transplant well. Soaking seeds for 24 hours will help in germination. This is a 2 gram packet.
