Hollyhock "Double" Tall
European Multicolor Variety. Very tall decorative plant with broad, alternating leaves. Produces clusters of magnificent flowers of all colors. Easy to grow in full sun and almost any well-drained soil, this annual really takes off with a top-dressing of cow manure!
This old-time favorite produces beautiful 3- to 6-inch flowers on tall, showy spikes. To capture the look of English cottage gardens, plant it along fences and walls. Fully double flowers in shades of crimson, pink, rose, yellow and white attract butterflies. Blooms mid-summer.
Days to Sprout 10 - 14, plant 1/4 " deep.
Plant Height 60 - 72 inches.
Plant seeds outdoors after the last frost in well-drained soil enriched with compost. Sow seeds, cover lightly with soil and keep moist until seedlings are established.
