Start seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost, sowing 2 seeds per pot or cell. Do not cover seeds. Transplant to the garden after the last frost. Before planting, enrich the soil with compost. Seeds may also be planted outdoors in summer for early blooms next spring. Fertilize monthly. Remove faded blossoms to prolong flowering. Cut back old stems for a second crop of flowers.
